By definition, a Still-Life is the image of an inanimate object;

Inside a tiny cell, Cincinnatus C. awaits the moment of his execution,
as if it were the end of a horrible nightmare.

Its origins date back to ancient times and it has been very popular
in Western art since the 17th century;

The constant visits from his jailer, the prison director, his daughter,
of his cell neighbor, or of his young wife and his absurd family,
they only increase the feeling of anguish and helplessness.

Also known as Still Life, it uses objects
generally drawn from everyday life, which may be natural
or made by man in a given space.

The idea of the absurd, the game and the irrationality of the world acquires dimensions
of a giant in this heartbreaking novel written by Vladimir Nabokov in 1935.

Por definición, un Still-Life es la imagen de un objeto inanimado;

en el arte occidental desde el siglo XVII;
